RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

Our emergency shelter is located at 1550 N. Gower Street,
in Hollywood, CA.
 

This program provides 17 beds for male and female runaway and homeless youth ages 12-17. Youth are allowed a 3-day emergency shelter service, which offers the opportunity for the youth to build trust with the staff and share information necessary to placing them in longer-term care. In addition a stabilization component provides up to 60 days of shelter. Services provided include case management, tutoring, individual, group and family counseling, recreational, cultural activities and life skills. The goal of this program is to transition kids to a more permanent living situation such as reunification with family, foster-care/group home or independent living. 323-957-7364

  The Taft House is a licensed (#197603054) 6-bed, up to 30 day group home designed to work with system youth or youth who are leaving home for the first time, ages 11-17. Services provided include case management, tutoring, individual, group and family counseling, recreational and cultural activities, family reunification, placement, and life skills. Through this beginning process, we assist residents in seeing their inner strength and the person they are capable of becoming. 323-467-8466
 

 

The Beachwood House is a licensed (#197603055) 12 bed, transitional living program for those youth who need a longer-term environment to grow and develop. These youth usually ages 15-19 participate in a home like daily routine including school, chores and employment as deemed appropriate. At this location, staff has more time to work with a young person and develop their potential. Self-sufficiency and Independent Living are the main house goals in order to empower youth to graduate into successful young adults. This facility is also utilized for youth working on family reunification through the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).
