Our educational and enrichment program at LAYN aims to support  youth in becoming well rounded and self - sufficient individuals equipped with the tools to succeed in the modern economy.  The educational curriculum consists of an enrichment program, an academic program, a mentoring program and a job skills program. Through our enrichment program, consisting of art, music, martial arts, dance and photography, we offer  youth personal growth, self-esteem building and empowerment. Our educational programs seek to ensure that every child attains a high school diploma and is adequately prepared for a four-year university. We accomplish this by providing targeted and objective driven instruction through our educational groups and tutoring program. Additionally, students are regularly exposed to university life and given a clear roadmap to college admission.

In collaboration with our academic and enrichment programs, we offer a job skills program targeted at preparing our youth for the working world. In addition to assisting youth in finding job placement, our job groups teach the skills necessary to attain and sustain employment.  Finally, our large group of talented and dedicated mentors works to support our educational and job program by helping serve as a resource for the youth. Mentors work with youth to set educational, personal and professional goals and assist the youth in achieving those goals.

The LAYN educational and enrichment programs work in collaboration with each other to create the best possible outcomes for our youth. Every component of the program is vital in ensuring that the youth is prepared for self-sufficiency and success.
